Terracotta Down Under Pot
Unique upside down pots are a clever way to display hanging plants. Plant grows from bottom of pot where it can be better seen, while allowing roots to grow out and over pot.
Pots are open on both ends allowing plants to be watered from above, enjoyed from below. Plants can also be potted in top after bottom plant becomes established.
One of the design features of the Down Under Pot® is an internal reservoir at the base of the pot. This reservoir catches water where the root system is developing, thus feeding the plant & providing the root system with a wall upon which to anchor. If the plant is watered moderately, the pot will not drip.
Create a hanging herb or succulent garden. Perfect for orchids and other plants that have arial roots.
Designed and patented in Australia by artist Mea Souris. Each pot is handmade & kiln fired, creating slight variations that make each planter unique.
